Logs Technical Specifications

A scaler, licensed by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Fauna and Parks, is responsible for log scaling based on the International ¼-Inch Rule.

Upon arrival, logs are inspected and scaled, then sorted by 5 different categories: Select, Grade 1 to 4.

Logs informations from FSC-certified suppliers are gathered and regrouped for better control and compilation. Also, Scierie Tech inc. insures respect of FSC regulations for those who are not certified, therefore all the logs become FSC-controlled.

Our purpose: to judge fairly each log entering the mill, according to its proper sales value.

Each load is paid by check or bank transfer the week following its delivery.
